Summertime North Westerly

Sunny and NW'ly is the time to head up to the Bristol Channel. The sea breeze really does boost up the gradient wind

Last Wednesday evening saw 5.0m conditions on my JP Twin at Doniford. And a ridable wave. A good mixture of nice front and backside riding and fun jumping.

Doniford is really taking over as my favourite spot on that stretch of coast.

Come the weekend the wind had largely gone of course. However that Bristol Channel sea breeze filled in again so I had a fun jumping session at Minehead (5.4 & Starboard Quad).
The low tide reef at Minehead is great for jumping, due to the flat water run up. Great riding on its day - watch those barnacles!

Giles.
